Bodega BiniVista was founded in 2017 by Danish entrepreneur Søren Svenningsen and in 2019, Marie Cecilie Von Ahm, a fellow Dane based in Barcelona, also joined the BiniVista team as a partner.
Since our humble beginnings in 2017, we have purchased approximately 30 hectares of prime land in the Biniali area on Mallorca – a part of the famous “Vi de la Terra Mallorca”, situated in the heart of the largest wine region on Mallorca.
Our BHAG is to become the most innovative and distinguished Wine Club in the world. Around our supreme quality wine estate on Mallorca, we will create a Wine Club centered around the concept of “Family”. With the estate as our base, we will create unique experiences for our members and offer them the opportunity to form part of our Mediterranean way of life.
The Vines
Head of Site Selection & Wine Education
As The Vines Director of Site Selection and Wine Educator, Marie is responsible for working with management to select the company’s international wine sites and winemaking partners, as well as coordinating agreements with these partners and facilitating member visits to the sites and wineries.
She also plans and coordinates the fabulous wine- and gourmet-focused trips to the world’s great wine regions that The Vines offers its members annually. Finally, she helps develop creative and interesting ways to educate The Vines members on all things wine-related.
